Amboseli

Amboseli camp is within sight of Kilimanjaro, in an important area of Maasai community land that contains the elephant migration routes from the National Park to the foothills in Tanzania.

You will accompany our research team in a 4x4 vehicle to closely track and record the elephant movements and study their behaviour.

The aim of the project is to monitor where elephants are leaving the security of the National Park, identifying individuals to build up data to increase their protection, and work with the Maasai community to reduce human / wildlife conflict.

During your stay we will visit the National park and the local town.
